Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 — Arusha → Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park (approximately 2–3 hours). This underrated gem is famous for its enormous elephant population and towering baobab trees.

Enjoy a full game drive where you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and diverse bird species. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts large concentrations of wildlife.

Later, travel toward the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2 — Ngorongoro Highlands → Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with panoramic views of the crater before continuing toward the legendary Serengeti.

Wildlife sightings often begin before you even reach the park gates. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game drive across the endless plains.

Watch for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herbivore herds that define this extraordinary ecosystem.

Day 3 — Full Day Serengeti Safari

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti — one of the greatest wildlife destinations on Earth.

Depending on the season, you may follow the path of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains.

Return to your lodge for dinner under a sky filled with stars — a true African safari experience.

Day 4 — Ngorongoro Crater → Return to Arusha

Depart early and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater — often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World."

This natural enclosure hosts rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, and vast grazing herds, offering outstanding game viewing in a compact area.

After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha by late afternoon.
